Dual Heuristic Task Classifier Scheduling for Cloud Environment
To compute today’s scalable and variety of problems, a promising service is required which is affordable and yet elastic. Here, Cloud computing is right there as giant technology. It is mature as giving plenty of services to end users with variable demands. But, such an ease required competent task scheduling technique(s) to fulfill such demands. This paper presents an efficient task scheduling, named DHTCS (Dual Heuristic Task Classifier Scheduling). It utilizes two unlike heuristics that applies the concept of task classification based on theory of relative scoring. Its first phase that is task classification ensure filtering out tasks into two defined categories based on nature of a task. Where, its second phase is accountable for scheduling cloudlets to respective resource in an efficient way based on two defined heuristics. Experimental results yield the effectiveness of proposed approach from popular scheduling heuristics in terms of makespan and mean machine utilization as prime objectives.
