Available Transfer Capability Calculation Using Continuation Power Flow Method

This paper focuses on the basics of Available Transfer Capability (ATC) computation, which is crucial for maintaining the safety and dependability of power grid operations. It uses the Continuation Power Flow (CPF) method, a reliable numerical tool, to evaluate transfer limitations in the IEEE-14 bus system. The main goals are to create and put into practice an effective algorithm that can calculate ATC in a variety of operating circumstances and backup plans. This paper also compares the results of TTCs done on the IEEE 14 Bus System with and without reactive power limits.
