A Very Compact Microstrip Antenna for Sub-6ghz Applications
This paper proposes the design and development of a very compact triple band antenna with enhanced gain for 5G, sub-6 GHz applications. It consists of a slotted ring loaded by four open-ended stubs including a metasurface as a reflector. It resonates at multiple frequencies within the sub-6 GHz band having dimensions of 15.8 × 20 × 0.8 mm3 and is compact in nature. It is specifically crafted for use in portable 5G mid-band devices, offering an omnidirectional power pattern that enhances its suitability. This is applicable for WLAN , INSAT and Wi-Fi communications.
