Design and Implementation of Vehicle Theft Prevention by Operating Fuel Injector

This paper addresses the critical issue of motor vehicle theft in India, where approximately 100,000 vehicles are stolen annually, significantly contributing to the rising crime rate. We propose a solution to combat vehicle theft by integrating fuel injector operation and scalable applications. A mobile application is developed to control various parameters, enhancing the prototype’s flexibility and usability. By leveraging modern technologies such as face detection and GPS tracking, unauthorized vehicle access can be detected and thwarted in real-time. The presented system, implemented using Raspberry Pi, Arduino Nano, and Wi-Fi modules, offers robust security features while remaining cost-effective. Through a combination of hardware and software components, including Blynk App integration and person detection algorithms, the prototype effectively prevents unauthorized vehicle access and notifies users of attempted thefts. The paper presents a comprehensive methodology, including system architecture, component integration, and real time operation, demonstrating the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed solution in avoiding car theft.
