A Tri-Band Four-Port MIMOTB Antenna with Applications Including n48, n77, n78, n79, Satellite: Uplink-Downlink and Ku-Band Fixed-Satellite Broadcast Service

This research with motivation of generation of tr-bands MIMOTB antenna is proposed. The single-port antenna uses flexible-Rogers substrate of dimension 60×60×0.254 mm3 consisting of circular-patch and slotted-rectangular ground. The single band achieves bandwidth of 3.645GHz-5.234GHz, 7.1486GHz-9.6252GHz and 12.57GHz-17.78GHz. The quad-port configuration with dimension of 120mm×120mm achieves impedance bandwidth of 3.4225GHz-5.3225GHz, 7.1275GHz-9.5975GHz and 12.4950GHz-17.8150GHz. Abstract

The diversity parameters include ECC<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">TB</inf><0.004, DG<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">TB</inf> ≅ 10.0dB, TARC<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">TB</inf><- 4.0dB and CCL<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">TB</inf><0.30 b/s/Hz in all the three bands. The maximum peak-gain corresponds to 9.16dBi with stable-2D radiation patterns in all the three bands.
