The Relationship of the Partial Capacitances with Overhead Line Geometric Parameters
As for electronic voltage divider for the high-voltage measurement of overhead lines, the accuracy of mutual-capacitances is crucial to measurement accuracy. The relationships of the partial capacitances of the slice electrode-overhead line-ground system with geometric parameters are analyzed in this paper. The influence of the geometric parameters of the conductors are focused on. Simulation via the finite element method verifies that as height of high voltage conductors ranges from 4 to 16 m, slice self-capacitance drops: by 19.3% in the 4-8 m range and 9.6% in the 9-13 m range. The mutual-capacitances show similar variation with conductor spacing changes. These findings are of great significance for the future floating electrode-based overhead line voltage measurement.
