Sustainable Solution for Voltage Stability through Fuzzy Controlled FACTS Devices
System resilience and power quality are the two most important criteria for a power system. Utility power supply help meet customer load demands in an economical and environmentally friendly manner. In the case of a breakdown, FACTS devices are designed to provide customers with energy while preserving the stability of the power system. This research study comprehensively examines the stability of the distribution system under various fault scenarios, both with and without FACTS devices. This study compares the results of MATLAB/SIMULINK between single-line and multiline FACTS controller devices obtained under fault conditions. It is found that GUPFC functions the best out of all the devices. It assures the quality of power supply that is given to each load bus, helps maintain the stability and functioning of the power system, and successfully eliminates voltage sag that occurs during fault circumstances.
