Voice Activated IoT Application for Device Control and Energy Monitoring
This paper presents a design and deployment of an advanced home automation system with improved energy management and clever control mechanisms using mobile application. The predictive energy management methodology that this system incorporates, in contrast to traditional IoT home automation solutions, analyzes user behavior and optimizes device usage to lower power consumption. The system involves key features such as a logging mechanism to record the on and off activities of connected devices, a voice-command interface enabling hands-free control, manual toggles for switching devices on or off, and real-time monitoring of electrical parameters including current and voltage. By integrating these functionalities, the application enhances energy efficiency, improves user convenience, and advances smart home automation solutions.
