AI Course Equivalency using Word Mover's Distance and Semantic Analysis with NLP in Cloud Computing
International students and job seekers need assessments of credential equivalence between nations and learning institutions to enter educational programs worldwide. Current manual assessment methods, such as educational equivalency, operate at a slow pace and rely on unreliable methods, which limits their potential for widespread adoption. Study results indicate Word Mover's Distance (WMD) developed within Natural Language Processing (NLP) offers the most effective solution for analyzing the meaning of academic qualifications. When use WMD analysis on course descriptions and learning outcomes, it may get better contextual equivalence assessment methods that fix problems with older assessment methods. The recommended system implements WMD technology for automatic equivalence assessment through cloud infrastructure processing. The recommended system integrates cloud computing benefits and computational capabilities to manage large quantities of information and perform thorough semantic evaluations. Multiple course description datasets from different institutions examine the effectiveness of WMD against known similarity measurements such as cosine and Jaccard similarity. According to the study, WMD is better at finding similar courses because it uses contextual connections between different course sections. Using both developed heatmaps and semantic embeddings together makes it easier to see outcome data because they show the same information in ways that are easy to understand. The worldwide business sector benefits from cloud computing, which delivers adaptive system frameworks together with real-time computing operations throughout expandable resources that users at any location can reach. The system creates a full automated way to compare credentials by combining educational outcomes with employee requirements and academic standards around the world. According to research, cloud platforms based on natural language processing can set up objective structured systems that help countries work together on education and the workforce.
