Development of an Arduino-based Solar-Powered Mobile Charger with Integrated Timer, Alarm, and Energy Management System

The rapid growth of mobile device usage necessitates innovative and sustainable charging solutions, particularly in regions with unreliable power supply. This study presents the design and development of an Arduino-Based Solar-Powered Mobile Charger equipped with an integrated timer, alarm, and energy management system. The proposed system employs a high-efficiency solar panel to harvest energy, a rechargeable lithium-ion battery for storage, and an Arduino microcontroller for real-time control and automation. Testing under various conditions demonstrated an energy efficiency of up to 94%, with the timer and alarm system achieving an accuracy of 99.33% across different charging durations. The intelligent energy management system dynamically adjusted the charging process based on solar input, optimizing battery performance and user convenience. The robust design includes safety mechanisms to protect against overvoltage, undervoltage, and overcurrent scenarios. The results validate the system's practicality, reliability, and scalability for applications in rural electrification, emergency power supply, and off-grid scenarios. Future advancements could include IoT integration for remote monitoring and further optimization for low-light conditions, enhancing the system's versatility and performance
