Cultivating the Future: Automated Crop Monitoring with IoT and Sensor Networks

Real-time monitoring of crops with the help of technology can monitor and regulate environmental and crop conditions. The SmartCorp Monitoring System will be a development of an advanced environment control system for corporate agriculture through the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller. It would possess moisture sensors that automatically trigger a water pump when the measured moisture is lower than the threshold and PIR motion sensors to automatically monitor human presence as a means of upgrading security. The system, with the inclusion of Wi-Fi, gives users real-time control from a distance by accessing a web interface or a mobile application. It is powered by a 18650 battery to provide enough energy, ensuring that wherever it is located, the area is limited to electricity. Manual control is also made possible through a tactile pushbutton, and at the same time, it is flexible. The system minimizes the low efficiency of water distribution during irrigation while saving it, by securing the farm, through simplified operations.
