Large birefringence switching in a new zero-dimensional cyanide perovskite ferroelastic material

The first 0D cyanide perovskite ferroelastic material, (MA) 3 [Fe(CN) 6 ], exhibits remarkable birefringence switching up to 0.28, which is mediated by the cooperative rotation of the rigid Fe(CN) 6 octahedron during its phase transition.
