Leveraging FETs in Robotic Biosensors for Biomedical Applications
Healthcare is changing as a result of the convergence of biosensor and biomedical robotics, which is making it possible to create extremely accurate, flexible, and customizable systems for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes. This work delves into the crucial function of Field-Effect Transistors (FETs) in propelling the integration of biosensors into biomedical robotic systems. Because of their famed sensitivity, scalability, and low power consumption, FETs are the perfect choice for biosensing applications. MOSFET integration with biosensors allows for the very accurate and specific detection of numerous biomarkers such as glucose, DNA, and proteins. An analysis is conducted of the design concerns for integrating these biosensors into robotic systems, emphasizing the importance of increasing signal processing capabilities, decreasing noise, and enhancing sensitivity. To tackle these challenges and enhance the performance of MOSFET-based biosensors in complex biological environments, innovative strategies have been proposed, including the incorporation of advanced materials. It is anticipated that MOSFET technology will play a more significant role in biomedical robotics as it develops further, opening up new avenues for improving patient care and health outcomes.
