Fault detection for nonlinear systems with multirate sampling and redundant channel

As networked industrial systems become more complex, fault detection (FD) has become increasingly critical. This paper investigates the fault detection problem for nonlinear systems with multirate measurements phenomena under redundant channel communication. The considered multirate measurements phenomenon categorizes sensor sampling into groups with different measurement frequencies based on the importance of the data. Furthermore, redundant channels are introduced to enhance the success rate of communication transmission. Subsequently, a fault detection filter (FDF) is constructed to ensure the resulting error dynamic system is stochastically stable and possess satisfactory H<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">∞</inf> performance. Finally, an example is provided to validate the effectiveness of the proposed FD approach.
