Research on Parametric Design Method of Table Lamp Based on UE5
This study integrates Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) and 3Ds Max to propose a parametric design and modular assembly method for table lamps, enabling efficient design and personalized customization. Mind mapping and morphological analysis are used to classify the core structures of table lamps and construct a morphological feature framework. Free-Form Deformation (FFD) technology and 3Ds Max modifiers generate various lampshade forms, which are imported into UE5 via the FBX pipeline for real-time rendering and dynamic parameter display. The Modular Snap System Runtime (MSSR) plugin facilitates modular assembly, ensuring precise alignment in the virtual environment. Results demonstrate that this method effectively controls the diversity of table lamp shapes while enabling parametric design and virtual assembly in UE5. This research provides innovative technical support for table lamp design and offers a feasible approach for the development of personalized customization products.
