Analysis and Treatment of Vibration Differences in Air Cooler Fans at Gas Transmission Stations
This paper focuses on the vibration differences of air cooler fans in gas transmission stations. Vibration anomalies occur in the operation of air cooler fans supporting compressors in a station for west-east gas transmission, and the vibration of KL_3 fan of No.1 air cooler is particularly prominent, and the overall vibration displacement and velocity values of No.2 air cooler fan show complex changes at different times and are higher than those of No.1 air cooler fan. By installing vibration measurement points in the fan drive motor and collecting data through relevant software and conducting spectrum analysis, it was found that the abnormal vibration of fan KL_3 was caused by rotor imbalance and eccentricity; the large vibration of fan of air cooler No. 2 was caused by factors such as poor rigidity of the equipment connection and installation and foundation, the poor condition of its own structural components and differences in operating conditions. In view of these problems, after taking measures such as tightening bolts, reinforcing foundation, impeller weighting, and replacing bearings, the vibration of KL_3 fan and No.2 air-cooler fan have been effectively improved, which provides an important reference for the operation and maintenance of similar equipment.
