Global coverage inspection method for transmission cables based on quadruped biomimetic robots
In response to the poor obstacle avoidance effect of traditional inspection methods, a global coverage inspection method for transmission cables based on quadruped bionic robots is proposed. Based on the visual differences, distance, and color characteristics of the corner points in the inspection path marking image, the inspection path marking of the quadruped bionic robot is identified. By calculating the collision warning distance, the estimated collision probability is obtained. The convolutional neural network model is used to plan the collision avoidance path of the quadruped bionic robot, achieving global coverage inspection of the transmission cable of the quadruped bionic robot. The test results show that this method not only improves the efficiency and accuracy of inspection, but also enables quadruped biomimetic robots to successfully bypass obstacles, increasing the obstacle avoidance accuracy to 96.5%, providing a new solution for improving the efficiency and safety of global coverage inspection of transmission cables.
