Application of Feedforward PID Hydraulic Control System Based on Multi-Objective Particle Swarm Optimization

To improve the control accuracy of the hydraulic cylinder, a Multi-Objective Particle Swarm Optimization (MOPSO) method is proposed to optimize the feedforward PID parameters, addressing issues such as high overshoot, slow response speed, and low precision in the hydraulic cylinder's response process. A feedforward PID control algorithm based on MOPSO is applied to the hydraulic cylinder system, where the feedforward PID parameters are optimized using the multi-objective particle swarm algorithm. Simulation experiments are conducted on the Amesim-Simulink co-simulation platform. The results verify that the MOPSO-based feedforward PID control algorithm reduces the time required for the hydraulic system to reach a stable state and minimizes overshoot, thereby improving response speed and stability.
