Reliability and Availability Analysis in Redundant Repairable Systems: Incorporating Detection Delay Factors
In this research article, we introduce a technique for designing membership functions tailored to a redundant repairable system consisting of two primary components, with the assumption of detection delay factors for failures of the operating unit. Through the ζ-cut method, the fuzzy system generates regular intervals to reflect desired attributes. The process provides management with enhanced insights and an accurate depiction of standard repairable systems, which benefits developers and practitioners. A numerical example illustrates the effectiveness of this approach.
