Un caso clinico di MIRM (Mycoplasma pneumoniae-induced rash and mucositis): diagnosi e gestione
A 12-year-old patient presented to the emergency department with a six-day history of fever and cough, later developing oral lesions and conjunctivitis. Further investigation revealed an infection caused by Mycoplasma pneumoniae, leading to a diagnosis of MIRM (Mycoplasma Pneumoniae-Induced Rash and Mucositis). The patient was successfully treated with antibiotics and supportive care, highlighting the importance of early recognition and management of mucocutaneous manifestations related to Mycoplasma infections.
