Effect analysis of design of hot stamping die inserts of double thin-sheet aluminum alloy forgings on their stress-strain state and tool durability
The effect of the mutual arrangement in the grooves of die inserts of double thin-sheet forgings made of aluminum wrought ENAW-2618A alloy on their stress-strain state and the durability of the die tooling is studied. The results of computer modeling of the hot die stamping process in die inserts differing in the arrangement of forgings in the forming groove are presented, as well as their comparative analysis, which will allow making a choice about the most preferable option.
