THE METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF THE EFFECTIVE EVALUATION OF THE RESOURCE POTENTIAL FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF EVENT TOURISM OF THE TERRITORY

The place of event-tourism as one of the main directions of the world tourist market has been determined in the article. According to the results of the conducted researches of the formation and the development of event tourism of the destination, we emphasize the need of the use of the unified methodology of the research of the resource potential, which is the basis of the development of the direction. As for the analysis of the current state of the functioning of industry and the formation of the strategy of its development, it is necessary to use the methodology of the research of the main indicators (indices) of the formation of event tourism of the territory. The use of the unified methodology will allow determining the most effective directions in the development of tourism and developing the strategies of the development of tourism, in particular event, of the certain territory (community, destination, region). The proposed methodology predicts the stages of the research that are determined and described in the article. For the most effective evaluation of the resource potential, the number of the indicators are used that form the level of the development of industry in the territory of the research. The directions and the methods have been proposed in the article, which is necessary for receiving more detailed analysis of the development of event-tourism of the destination. Based on the results of the conducted work, the need of the formation of the strategic and the operational goals in the official documents of the national, the regional and the local levels has been emphasized, namely in the Strategies of the Development of Territorial Communities aimed at the restoration and the development of event tourism of the destination. For more detailed research and the formation of the development of the Strategy of the Development of Event Tourism of the destination, it is necessary to conduct a SWOT-analysis of the resource potential of the territory, the mandatory implementation in the community administrations of the effective systems of monitoring and the analysis of the current functioning, the restoration and the development of tourism, in particular event, the creation or the improvement of the registers of the monuments and the events of the local, the regional, all-Ukrainian meaning.
