INTERNAL MANAGEMENT REPORTING FOR AGRIBUSINESS ENTERPRISES

The article explores the importance and necessity of developing managerial accounting in agribusiness enterprises in the context of modern economic challenges and changes. Managerial accounting is an integral part of effective management for any enterprise, and in agribusiness, with its specific production and seasonality, it is especially crucial. The article identifies key problems arising from the lack of consistency in cost classification approaches, as well as the absence of a unified standard for managerial accounting and reporting in agricultural enterprises. These issues complicate the adoption of optimal management decisions, particularly in conditions of unstable markets and high price volatility for agricultural products. The structure of costs in agricultural enterprises is analyzed, with special attention given to the calculation of production and distribution costs, as well as identifying costs for specific stages of the production process, such as soil cultivation, sowing, crop care, harvesting, and transportation. The article discusses the diversity of costs, including fixed and variable costs, which contribute to the flexibility in managerial decisions regarding the adjustment of production strategy depending on the current market situation and external conditions. Methods for improving managerial accounting in agribusiness are proposed, focusing on the specifics of agricultural production. These include new approaches to cost calculation and the optimization of financial resources within the enterprise. Various cost calculation methods are used, which allow for precise determination of costs at different stages of the production process, enabling more efficient resource allocation and management. An important aspect is the integration of information technologies into managerial accounting processes, which allows for the automation of accounting processes, reducing the risk of human errors, and significantly improving the accuracy and timeliness of data. The automation of accounting and reporting helps agribusinesses to respond quickly to changes in external conditions and the internal state of the enterprise. This approach not only improves the accuracy of financial forecasts but also optimizes management costs. Attention is given to methods for reducing unit production costs, which is crucial for enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises in a highly competitive agricultural market. Specific strategies for optimizing the costs of production and distribution of agricultural products are proposed, along with advice on the effective use of agricultural resources. Practical recommendations for improving managerial accounting processes are provided, which can help agribusinesses achieve a higher level of efficiency in resource management and production planning. In particular, it is recommended to implement regular updates in accounting systems, enabling quick responses to changes in business conditions. The development of modern managerial accounting is not only a necessary condition for improving management effectiveness but also an important factor in ensuring the sustainable development of the agricultural sector and increasing its competitiveness in the global market.
