Furfural electrovalorisation to hydrofuroin with near-unity faradaic efficiency on a single-atom zinc catalyst
A single-atom zinc catalyst prepared by loading zinc phthalocyanine on carbon nanotubes enables highly efficient transformation of biomass-derived furfural to hydrofuroin, a sustainable aviation fuel precursor, with near-unity efficiency.
