LABOR MARKET IN THE DIGITAL ECONOMY: NEW APPROACHES AND MODELING TOOLS
The subject of this study is the organizational, economic, social, and labor relations that emerge when developing approaches to modeling labor market trends in the digital economy. The purpose of this work is to evaluate existing modeling approaches and devise a set of key indicators, including those relevant to platform employment, to create a model aimed at enhancing employment opportunities within the digital economy. The research employs systemic and comparative methods, structural analysis, and statistical information processing. This study identifies significant trends in labor market development at both global and national levels, systematically analyzes the most commonly used modeling techniques, such as regression analysis, simulation and mathematical modeling, and cognitive methods, and establishes that digital technologies will significantly transform the labor market within the next five years. Furthermore, it has been determined that the platform employment sector is rapidly expanding within the labor market in the digital economy. Key conclusions indicate that the availability of digital skills, increased access to digital technologies, and growth in investment and wages all contribute to the rise in informal employment.
