Event-Triggered Control in Networked Systems with Limited Bandwidth

Event-triggered control (ETC) in networked systems presents a promising solution to optimize communication load and maintain system stability under bandwidth constraints. This study investigates a robust event-triggered control framework that strategically minimizes data transmissions while ensuring desired performance in networked control systems. A nonlinear dynamic system is modeled and subjected to various bandwidth scenarios, using simulation-based evaluations. Statistical methods, including regression and predictive analytics, are employed to analyze the performance metrics. Results demonstrate significant communication reduction without sacrificing control accuracy, highlighting the efficacy of ETC in limited-resource environments. The findings pave the way for broader implementation of ETC in cyber-physical systems such as remote robotics and industrial automation. Keywords: Event-triggered control, Networked control systems, Bandwidth constraints, Predictive analysis, Control optimization, Cyber-physical systems
