TEACHING MATHEMATICS IN THE FIELD OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TECHNOLOGIES DEVELOPMENT

The development of generative intelligence (GAI) technologies is beginning to significantly impact the higher educational system. The use of AI by university student becomes widespread. A test was conducted to estimate the capabilities of AI, specially DeepSeek program, to solving basic problems from control assignments and individual task given to students. It was found that even at its current level, AI can generate detailed solutions to most problems while making typical “human-like” errors. The capabilities of available AI programs in creating student assignments or providing recommendations on course structure remain clearly insufficient.
