MATHEMATICAL AND TECHNICAL ISSUES OF NUMERICAL METHODS’ PARALLELIZATION
The purpose of the article is to discuss issues related to parallel programming for numerical methods speedup. We consider some mathematical models of parallelization’s efficiency. We pay the most attention to the modern modifications of the Amdahl’s law. Besides, we characterize the main problems of numerical methods’ parallelization. Technologies of numerical methods’ parallelization are also analyzed. We mention some parallelization technologies for C++ and C# languages. Finally, we discuss difficulties related to teaching of numerical methods’ parallelization.
