SIMULATION OF A VARIATION SERIES OF A DISCRETE RANDOM VARIABLE IN A UNIVERSITY MATHEMATICS COURSE
The paper considers the problem of using simulation modeling to improve the quality of understanding the content of concepts in probability theory and mathematical statistics in the framework of studying mathematics at a university. The purpose of pedagogical research is to reveal probabilistic and statistical patterns in the study of a discrete random variable. The result of methodological activity is presented in the form of complex computer-mathematical tasks, the structure and content of which reflect the sequence of educational activities.
