Bibliometric Analysis of Smart Road Emergency Response Integrating IoV Computing

The integration of cloud, edge, and fog computing within the Internet of Vehicles (IoV) framework is becoming increasingly substantial for modern transportation infrastructure, particularly in smart road emergency response systems. This paper pertains to a bibliometric analysis of recent academic research in this domain. Through a comprehensive examination of recent and relevant literature retrieved from IEEE Xplore, this research offers insights into the latest trends and developments regarding technologies utilized to improve emergency management on smart roads within the Internet of Vehicles (IoV). The study, conducted using Python for data visualization and statistical analysis, reveals significant correlations among authors and the co-occurrence of key terms related to IoV technologies. The results provide important background information for understanding this topic and directing future efforts. This paper aims to exhibit the prevalence of integrating cloud, edge, and fog computing in advancing smart road emergency response systems within IoV,guiding researchers to enable safer and more efficient transportation networks.
