Design and Implementation of Immersive Historic Site Simulation and Real-Time Weather System
Virtual reality digital simulation technology can not only preserve the original appearance of historic sites, but also provide multi-dimensional and freely interactive three-dimensional visualization support for the protection and restoration of historic sites, science popularization and cultural publicity, digital cultural tourism, etc. In order to further enhance the user's immersive experience in the simulation interaction of historic sites, this paper takes the Qutan Temple in Qinghai, the most intact Han official building of the Ming Dynasty in Northwest China, as an example, and studies and designs an immersive simulation interactive system for the ancient monuments of Qutan Temple with real-time weather visualization feedback. Through oblique photography technology, more than 25,000 multi-angle and high-definition image data were collected on the site of the monuments, and the three-dimensional scene reconstruction simulation of the monuments was completed. In order to meet the needs of indoor viewing of building communities, panoramic images combined with multiple texture mapping technology were used to complete indoor mapping, and at the same time, panoramic navigation of fisheye space was realized. Integrate scene resources, simulate particle mapping rules under various weather conditions under the condition of integrating indoor and outdoor real scenes, transmit real-time weather information through the analysis network, and render the corresponding weather environment of historic sites with real-time dynamic lighting and weather environment simulation, so as to improve the realism and immersion of ancient building simulation.
