Investigating the Impact of Meteorology on Air Quality Based on BPNN
As the processes of urbanization and industrialization continue to deepen, air pollution issues caused by industrial emissions, vehicle exhaust, and other factors have become increasingly severe, leading to the growing prominence of air pollution problems in some cities. In response to the practical needs for precise prevention and control of air pollution and the development of low-carbon cities, a thorough analysis of the factors influencing air quality is of significant importance for enhancing air quality forecasting and environmental governance. This paper analyzes the air pollutant concentrations and meteorological data of five provincial capital cities in the North China region, employing a BPNN model to reveal the significant impact of meteorological factors on air pollutants. In addition, the impact of various meteorological factors on the concentration of each pollutant and their related attributes was precisely measured through MIV values, providing strong support for unraveling the complex relationship between air pollution and meteorological conditions. This study not only establishes an advanced environmental analysis framework but also provides scientific evidence for the optimization of urban environmental governance.
