Knowledge Mapping Analysis of Domestic and International Cybersecurity Research
To understand the characteristics and current status of domestic and international cybersecurity research and to strengthen cybersecurity governance, we take China Knowledge Network Database and Web of Science Core Collection Database as the annual sample data sources, use CiteSpace and VOSviewer visualization software, and analyze domestic and international cybersecurity research themes and frontiers by keyword co-occurrence analysis and emergent word analysis. It is found that there is a huge number of researchers and organizations in this field, with close cooperation among foreign scholars such as Guerra, and sparse and weak cooperation networks among Chinese authors. Domestic and foreign research perspectives are wide-ranging, covering political, legal, technological, and ethical dimensions, with Chinese literature focusing on the technological dimension. In contrast, foreign literature is more dispersed in terms of research direction. Research themes such as digital security, digital economy, blockchain, and artificial intelligence are the hotspots and frontiers of domestic and foreign cybersecurity research.
