Research on OFDM Timing Synchronization Algorithms

Nowadays, Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technology has become one of the hot spots in the research of broadband mobile communication filed. OFDM technology has the characteristics of high data transmission rate, high spectrum utilization rate and strong stability. But at the same time, OFDM system is very sensitive to synchronization errors. Keeping IFFT and FFT start time synchronously (timing synchronization) has decisive impact on the overall performance of OFDM systems.
