WORK-RELATED STRESS
Stress in the workplace is a complex challenge with a wide impact on the health and performance of employees. It affects the physical and mental well-being of individuals, increases the risk of diseases, as well as negatively affects productivity and engagement at work. Key stressors include work overload, lack of control over tasks, conflict in the work environment, and lack of support from colleagues or superiors. This can lead to anxiety, depression and burnout at work, which negatively affects work quality and performance. Implementing strategies to reduce stress in the workplace is essential. This includes promoting a healthier work environment, supporting management, establishing policies that address stress, and supporting employees through stress management programs. Such interventions not only improve employee well-being, but also contribute to business sustainability by reducing labor turnover and increasing motivation and engagement. A commitment to creating a supportive and healthy work environment not only reduces stress, but also promotes productivity and positive employee development.
