At the same time, from the economic level, a series of processes such as diagnosis, treatment, and subsequent review of gastric polyps will generate continuous medical expenses, which undoubtedly increases the financial burden of patients and their families. In order to explore the related knowledge of gastric polyps in depth, this paper uses the method of literature research to comprehensively sort out and summarise the etiology and pathogenesis of gastric polyps in the field of Western medicine. It also analyses the etiology and pathogenesis of gastric polyps from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). In terms of treatment, this paper systematically summarises the conventional treatment methods and rules of modern medicine, as well as the combination of Chinese and Western medicine and external treatment of Chinese medicine. It aims to provide a comprehensive and practical reference for the prevention of the occurrence and development of gastric polyps, and to implement a more scientific and effective prevention and treatment strategy.
