It is established that the introduction of such a model ensures stable economic dynamics and the formation of a sustainable development trajectory for food enterprises in the context of digital economy. Moreover, the methodological approach to modeling takes into account the interaction between internal capabilities and external environment factors. It is considered that the implementation of the digitalization mechanism requires coordinated action at all levels of enterprise management, including support for innovation, investment in digital competencies, and organizational change. The proposed model provides a theoretical and practical framework for implementing digital strategies in the food industry and can be adapted for use in other sectors of the economy.

Abstract

The article highlights the conceptual foundations of forming an economic mechanism of digitalization for food industry enterprises under the conditions of digital transformation of the economy. It is established that the effectiveness of digitalization processes depends on the ability of enterprises to integrate digital technologies into operational, production, and managerial activities, taking into account sector-specific characteristics and modern global challenges. The article considers the structural components of the proposed mechanism, including technological, organizational, economic, and analytical subsystems, as well as their functional relationships and interdependencies. Special attention is paid to the role of digital platforms, automation systems, the Internet of Things, and Big Data in reshaping traditional business models. It is shown that these components contribute to enhancing adaptability, competitiveness, and resilience of food industry enterprises. The model allows for strategic planning of digital transformation processes, optimizing resource allocation, and improving decision-making quality. The article also highlights the importance of monitoring digital maturity and developing a flexible digital infrastructure.
