FATORES SOCIOAMBIENTAIS E SUA INFLUÊNCIA NA AUTOESTIMA DE ALUNOS EM CLASSES DE CORREÇÃO DE FLUXO: ESCOLA, FAMÍLIA E COMUNIDADE
This study analyzes the influence of socio-environmental factors on the self-esteem of students enrolled in remedial classes, considering the impact of the school environment, family, and community. The research was conducted at Escola Municipal Santo Agostinho in Manaus and adopts a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methods, including questionnaires, semi-structured interviews, and content analysis. The results indicate that students' self-esteem is directly related to their perception of the school environment, family and community support, and the teaching strategies employed by educators. The literature demonstrates that cooperative learning, combined with active methodologies and a welcoming educational environment, positively impacts students' motivation and academic performance. Additionally, challenges such as age-grade distortion, low self-esteem, and lack of family support highlight the need for more effective educational policies, including ongoing teacher training and social inclusion strategies. The study concludes that valuing students' selfesteem in remedial classes is not a secondary factor but an essential pillar in promoting meaningful learning and reducing the impacts of educational gaps, fostering student engagement and retention in the school system.
