SOSIALISASI APLIKASI ASAP CAIR LISA (LIQUID SMOKE AGRIBISNIS) SEBAGAI PESTISIDA ALAMI DAN PENGAWET PANGAN

Indonesia as an agricultural country has great potential in the agricultural and agribusiness sectors, including in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. Balunijuk Village is one of the areas in Bangka Regency whose economy depends on the agricultural sector, especially in the cultivation of chili plants. However, farmers in this village often face problems in pest control and crop quality due to excessive use of chemical pesticides. As an environmentally friendly alternative, liquid smoke was introduced as a solution in the agricultural and food processing sectors. The socialization activity entitled "Socialization of the Application of Liquid Smoke LISA (Liquid Smoke Agribusiness) as a Natural Pesticide and Food Preservative" was carried out in Balunijuk Village on December 12 2024. The main aim of this activity was to introduce the use of grade 3 liquid smoke as a natural pesticide for chili and grade plants. 2 as a food preservative, especially smoked fish. The implementation method involves a participatory approach through outreach, training and direct practice. Participants were given material regarding the benefits and techniques for using liquid smoke, followed by demonstrations of its application to chili plants and tuna. The results showed that participants showed high enthusiasm and understood how to use liquid smoke safely and effectively. PKK women have succeeded in practicing the use of liquid smoke as a food preservative, increasing the shelf life of smoked fish. This outreach not only educates farmers and local communities about sustainable agricultural techniques, but also opens up new business opportunities that can improve the village economy. It is hoped that the use of this technology can continue to be introduced and developed in other areas that require similar solutions.
