СУТЬ І СТРУКТУРА ПРОЄКТНОЇ КОМПЕТЕНТНОСТІ БАКАЛАВРІВ ІЗ ДИЗАЙНУ СЕРЕДОВИЩА

The article examines the essence and structure of design competence of environmental design specialists in Ukrainian and foreign pedagogical theory and practice, conducts a theoretical study of the fundamental categories and definitions of the concepts of "project", "project activity", "competence", "project competence", and provides the author's interpretation of the essence of design competence of environmental design bachelors. The author connects the essence of design competence with the design activity of an environmental designer and the design process, which is manifested in the awareness of the content and significance of design activity, in the mastery of special theoretical knowledge, practical skills and abilities, in the reasoned selection and optimization of successful design proposals and solutions in their variability, as well as in the readiness and ability to apply this knowledge in a professional environment. The structure of the design competence of future environmental designers is considered as part of five interconnected components that reflect various aspects of the readiness and ability of higher education students to carry out successful design activity in this field.
