Inventarisasi Anggrek (Orchidaceae) di Kawasan Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta sebagai Bahan Pembelajaran Mahasiswa

The orchid plants found in the wild, particularly in the open areas within the Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) campus, need to be inventoried to ensure their preservation and protection. The research was conducted through observations from April to June 2024. Observations were carried out in several areas of the UNY campus, including the Faculty of Economics, Masjid Mujahidin, IDB, Taman Pancasila, Taman Randu, and the Biology Garden. The inventory conducted at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta identified ten orchid species: Dendrobium aridang Green, Dendrobium bigibbum, Dendrobium crumenatum, Dendrobium Purple savine, Dendrobium ThongChai Gold, Oncidium sp., Phalaenopsis Hybrid, Spathoglottis plicata, Aerides odorata, and Vanilla planifolia. The diversity value index (H') was found to be 1.2. The species richness value for the UNY area was calculated to be 1.7. The species evenness index was 0.5, which is considered moderate. Learning media in the form of posters are evaluated from the aspects of content, design, media, and user response. The overall average score is 91.94%. The use of appropriate learning media will not only help to achieve effective and efficient learning objectives, but will also help to clarify material that students poorly understand.
