Zilucoplan (Zilbrysq)

Reimbursement reviews are comprehensive assessments of the clinical effectiveness and cost-effectiveness, as well as patient and clinician perspectives, of a drug or drug class. The assessments inform nonbinding recommendations that help guide the reimbursement decisions of Canada’s federal, provincial, and territorial governments, with the exception of Quebec. This review assesses zilucoplan (Zilbrysq), solution for injection (16.6 mg/0.416 mL, 23.0 mg/0.574 mL, and 32.4 mg/0.81 mL [each corresponding to 40 mg/mL] in single-dose prefilled syringes) for subcutaneous (SC) use. Indication: For the treatment of generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG) in adult patients who are acetylcholine receptor (AChR) antibody-positive. Patients continued to receive standard therapy throughout the pivotal trial.
