Control of chaotic synchronization in complex semiconductor lasers network: leveraging network structure symmetry
In optical communication networks, controlling complex networks has long been a challenging problem. Effectively manipulating the state variables of semiconductor lasers (SLs) in complex networks requires specific techniques, while achieving cluster synchronization often encounters various obstacles. In this work, we propose a control scheme that could achieve stable isochronous cluster synchronization among arbitrary SLs in complex networks with minimized modifications to the existing topological structure. The implementation involves adding new links and modifying connection weights within the network. Characterized by flexibility, applicability, and efficiency, this scheme enables precise control over the symmetric properties of network topology, ensuring stable cluster synchronization among arbitrary SLs in any complex network. By enhancing the generalization capabilities of complex SL networks, it facilitates image encryption and decryption through controlled cluster synchronization. This significantly broadens its potential applications across various domains, including optical communication.
