Natural and Social Science (NSS) Learning Models for Elementary School in the Emancipated Curriculum
This study aimed to determine the models of social science and natural science (IPAS) learning that are often used in the Emancipated Curriculum. IPAS focuses on the development of Indonesian citizens’ personalities. The author’s approach is a review of the literature. Any attempt by researchers to gather data and information pertinent to the issue or topic under discussion is referred to as a literature study. Journals are the main source of literature on this subject, and they are backed up by official documents and legal sources from domestic and foreign government agencies. Four learning models Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Project Based Learning (PjBL), Discovery Learning (DL), and Inquiry Learning (IL) are suggested to be used in the IPAS learning process in the Emancipated Curriculum. The four models in elementary school science classes can help students develop their 4Cs (collaborative, creative, critical thinking, and communication).
