THÉORIE DE LA JUSTICE INTERGÉNÉRATIONNELLE CHEZ RAWLS : UN SUPPORT POUR PENSER LA CRISE ÉCOLOGIQUE AU SÉNÉGAL
Summary : The article establishes how John Rawls' theory of intergenerational justice can constitute a support for thinking about the ecological or environmental crisis in Senegal. Thus, from a historical-comparative approach, it is first a question of recalling the difference in perception of ancient and modern philosophers on nature as an object of study. Then, it was a matter of seeing from a Rawlsian perspective that, in the exploitation of natural resources, future generations are often harmed because of their historical situation. Finally, the article analyzes the ecological crisis in Senegal posing a problem of justice or intergenerational equity. Keywords: Intergenerational justice, Senegal, ecological crisis, nature, forestry and land overexploitation.
