LA DEMOCRATIE À L‟ERE DU NUMÉRIQUE : DE LA « DÉMOCRATIE DES LETTRÉS » À LA « DÉMOCRATIE DES ILLETTRÉS »

Abstract: Democracy has evolved a lot since its founding in the Athenian city. It has taken several forms, adapting to the evolution of human societies. In contemporary times it is still experiencing a new mutation with the arrival of the internet and the emergence of social networks. In this article the ambition was to examine the way in which social networks have completely modified the democratic game by allowing a category of actors who previously did not have the opportunity to express themselves, to make their voices heard. If the medium changes, the way of communicating will change just as much, and this change impacts the democratic game. Keywords: Democracy-public space-digital space-public debate
