The Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee pointed out: “We should further improve the social security system and care and service system for the disabled, and promote the all-round development of the cause of the disabled”. Solving the problem of employment of disabled people is the most important thing in the development of the cause of disabled people in China. However, people with disabilities still face many difficulties when they use e-commerce platforms to achieve employment, and social work, with its professional methods, plays a key role in helping people with disabilities overcome difficulties and tap their potential. This study deeply analyzes the necessity and feasibility of social work intervention in e-commerce to enable the employment of people with disabilities, taps the potential of e-commerce to enable the employment of people with disabilities, systematically discusses the difficulties faced by the employment of people with disabilities under the background of e-commerce, and then innovatively builds a social work model of case work, group work, resource linking and policy advocacy, aiming to provide a model of social work intervention for the promotion of e-commerce employment for the disabled people.
