ROLE OF „AGENCIES“ LEGAL ENTITIES WITH A LICENSE TO PERFORM OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH (OSH) WORK IN THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA
The role of "Agencies" legal entities licensed to perform occupational safety and health (OSH) work in the Republic of Serbia is an important aspect in the context of improving the occupational safety and health system. Agencies licensed to perform these tasks play a key role in preventing accidents at work, as well as in improving the health and working conditions of all employees. OSH agencies provide expert assistance in the preparation of risk assessments, employee training, supervision and implementation of occupational safety and health measures, as well as in the development and guidance of policies in the field of occupational safety and health. In addition, licensed OSH agencies actively cooperate with employers and inspection bodies, assisting in the implementation of legal provisions and standards. In Serbia, within the legal framework regulating this area, there is a constant effort to improve the safety and health of employees, and the role of agencies as professional partners in this process is becoming increasingly important. Therefore, this paper will consider the normative and practical aspects of the function of agencies in the context of our legal system, as well as their effectiveness in the implementation of occupational safety and health measures in various economic sectors.
