FROM A VILLAGE SCHOOL TEACHER A MAN WHO RISE TO THE HEIGHTS OF SCIENCE

The article highlights the life and work of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Honored Teacher Akif Nurag oglu Abbasov. A.N. Abbasov was born on May 28, 1950 in the city of Ali-Bayramli (now Shirvan). He graduated from the Azerbaijan University of Languages, defended his candidate and doctoral dissertations. Under the scientific supervision of the professor, more than 40 people received the degrees of Doctor of Sci-ences and Doctor of Philosophy. A.N. Abbasov wrote more than 20 textbooks and teaching aids for comprehensive schools, higher and secondary specialized schools, special schools, more than 200 scientific articles. He is a member of the Union of Writers and Journalists.
