OCTA-ELEMENT MIMO ANTENNA FOR SATELLITE COMMUNICATION

This work presents an octa-element multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) antenna for satellite communication with a partial ground structure. The goal of using octal elements in MIMO design is to improve coverage range and system capacity and efficiency in wireless networks to a significant degree. The basic element in the MIMO antenna construction is the most effective antenna in the design. A 24 × 24 × 1.6 mm3 Fr4 epoxy substrate with a dielectric constant of 4.4 was used in this design as the basic antenna. The frequency band is (2-12) GHZ in which dual, quad, and octa-element MIMO antennas are being investigated. The results of S-parameters, gain, and diversity performance are used. When it comes to the envelope correlation coefficient, MIMO antennas have demonstrated exceptional performance in simulation results, making them a highly suitable choice for satellite communication. Their superior capabilities equip them to deliver reliable and efficient communication that can meet the demands of modern high-speed data transmission. The stimulated results are perfectly matched with the measured results.
